Dr Oz - before wedding facial

Thought I'd share... I've become a Dr Oz addict ;)  was watching the other day and if you go to the middle of the page for this link, you'll find a Chick Peak Flour Paste Facial that apparently women in India use to exfoliate and help tighten the pours right before their wedding.

I figure why not try it, so I will in the next couple of weeks :)

Re: Dr Oz - before wedding facial

  • Sounds interesting...but I would be careful with turmeric.  Couldn't that stain your skin yellow???
  • Hmmm, didn't think of that, maybe.  I'm going to try and I'll post what happens :)

  • I don't have any chickpea flour, but figuring that wouldn't impact if turmeric turned skin yellow, I put some turmeric and almond oil on my hand for 5 mins and rinsed off with water. Came off no problem :)  I do have brown/olive skin, so for someone with fair skin they might want to try this first just to make sure.

I'll post again what I think of this facial when I actually try it and on my face.
