Just got engaged and set the date for August.  Any ideas for a venue?  Here is what we are looking for: 

Outdoor venue
Ceramony and reception in the same place
Large lawn area for lawn games
Ability to dirnk 

We are hoping to have it in Seattle.  If we can't find a place that fits our criteria in the city we are open to places 60-80 miles outside Seattle. 

Any ideas!!! Thanks Knotters!

    Nothing in Seattle is coming to mind for me, but I live north so I wasn't looking in Seattle, but Tazer Valley Farms in Stanwood is beautiful for an August wedding, they allow alcohol and outside catering, and have ample lawn space as well.  My friend had her wedding there in mid-August a few years ago, and was able to do ceremony and reception there-it fits your criteria quite well, although it is about an hour north of downtown Seattle.

    Check out the Wild Rose:


    It's in Arlington though... my fiance's sister had her wedding there recently and it was absolutely gorgeous.

    Check out Columbia Winery - it was in my top 3 places I was considering. They have a lovely outdoor area and the ambiance is great.
