Question on dress Alterations

Im going to my first fitting next week and im realizing that i have no idea what they can do at an alteration.

Does anyone know if they can add beading? I think my dress is too simple and i wanted to add some beading to fix that. I dont want to be let down if they cannot do that.

    I think they can add beading to your dress, depending on the designer and the seamstress. But I'm not sure if they can do it in a month.

    By the date of your post I realize you already have the answer to your question but there may be others with the same.  I am a professional seamstress specializing in bridal & evening wear sewing and alterations.  Yes, your seamstress should be able to add beads or any other embellishment you would like.  I would suggest calling her in advance to ask her to have samples of the beads she has in stock so you can make your selection at the fitting. Congratulations on your recent wedding.
