me: divorced only 4-6 months (separated 2 years), FI: divorced 14 years
me: 1 5 year old daughter, him: 2 boys (16 and 19) and we are hoping for more together soon!

FI - divorced 6 years, but was separated a while before...

Me - divorced for a year and a half before engagement...

FI has a 16 year old daughter that lives with her mom.... we get to see her on the weekends.

My DH was never married prior to me. I had been divorced over 3 years when we were handfasted. I have a 26 year old, who is married, and I have a grandchild, 2 years old.

My situation is kinda of interesting.

I was only married 2 weeks before my ex started cheating and seperated 5 months later. We have been seperated over 3 years and will be finalized June 25th. I thought the divorce was final last year but ex pulled the divorce papers so I would keep him on my insurance and some other drama like that.

We have not announced our engagement but I am pretty certain our families know its coming.

H was divorced almost 4 years when we married. He has a 34 y/o daughter (who has 4 kids, ages 2 - 17 yrs) and a 30 y/o son.

"Widowed" (we weren't legally married) for a little over 2 years, so 2 1/2 when we get married. Sailor's and my first date was almost a year after M's passing.

Sailor-never married, no kids.

Me divorced 1 1/2 years, separated 6 months before that, have a 32, 27, and 25 year old. FI, complicated, lol, 1st marriage, divorced about 6 years, no kids, second marriage, divorced about 8 years, two kids (his own), two step kids (which he counts as his), 3rd marriage, divorced about 2 years, 3 step kids, which he also counts as his. And they all still have relationships with him. Which says a lot about him. 1st wife had mental issues and was really young, he was in the Navy. Second wife cheated on him, he got custody of his kids and raised them. Third wife was not real loving. He is embarrassed about his "resume" as he calls it but is the most loving man. My high school sweetheart and the man I have loved all my life. After 38 years of never seeing each other or talking we are so lucky to have found each other!

Me: Seperated for 5 years, will be divorced at the end of this month, Wedding is August 3rd. I have 3 kids, 2 from the marriage, ages 16, 7, and 2 1/2.

Him: Was separated for a year, divorced in May, Adopted her daughter age 19, step daughter 18, and bio son 14.

So yes the ink will barely be dry on our divorce before we are married but our relationships were terminated before we ever met.

That is so sweet! in the beginning of our relationship my FI said in a very snarky tone "i hope you know that i have no desire to be your sons father he already has one-even if hes a piece of poo!!" i understood but was a little saddened thinking he would never get really close to him then. :( well five yrs later they are like two peas in a pod and he told my mother that when he grows up he going to be just like his step dad :)
Then my fiance told me a few nights ago how much he wishes that he was my sons father bc of how awesome he is! melted my heart!
