Howdy ladies; I feel like this board is kind of up and down with activity, so I'm going to try out a weekly poll that we used to do on my month board.  It's the same questions every week, but just kinds of let us see what everyone's up too! (Married ladies- please feel free to participate too or chime in)

    Poll Questions:
    -What are you major wedding items you're working on this week? i'm in the middle of painting table numbers and working on a scrapbook to give to my FI as a wedding present. i'm also trying to add a few things to our registry.
    -Any DIY projects to tackle this week? see above, the table numbers!
    -What are you behind on/hoped you'd have done by now? i'm realizing that we could have registered earlier. i thought there was no rush because our wedding is still over four months away, but i've already had several people ask about it. i'm also sort of dreading going so i've been putting it off. also, i just started trying to book a hair/makeup artist but a lot of them are already booked!
    -WR: what are you most excited for this week? my dress should be coming in VERY soon, and i should also be getting the cake topper this week.
    -NWR: what are you most excited for this week? i'm visiting one of my BM's this weekend for her birthday, so that should be fun!
    Happily married since 9/1/2012!

     I am in the middle of trying to sign a contract with my Hair & Make-Up Vendor. We have had a few bumps in the road, so I am hoping to get the revised contract soon so that I can hopefully feel better about the whole situation.

    -Any DIY projects to tackle this week?

    I am so lucky to have a great friend that loves crafts. She is helping me to finish our card box and unity candle.
    -What are you behind on/hoped you'd have done by now?

    Hair & Make-up contract!
    -WR: what are you most excited for this week?

    I think that the flower girls gift is coming in this week. It’s a mini flower girl dress that looks just like hers that her doll can wear on our big day! I love etsy
    -NWR: what are you most excited for this week?

    FI and I are going to Wilmington NC this weekend for a wedding. We are excited to spend some time at the beach together in the sun.

    -Any DIY projects to tackle this week? N/A for WR; but NWR I am working on some tissue-paper lantern/poms for a birthday party we're having in two weeks

    -NWR: what are you most excited for this week? I'm going with a girlfriend to get a much-needed mani tonight and tmrw we're going to our first Cubs game of the year! Woo-hoo!

    Nothing right now. I'm feeling pretty good about where we're at
    WR: what are you most excited for this week?
    Our photographer meeting on Wednesday. She comes highly recommended on this board and I'm hoping she's the one!

    Flying to CO this weekend to see my 97 year old Grandpa and have him meet my FI for the first time!

       we went to IKEA yesterday and bought candlestick holders to make our new centerpieces. we will assemble them at a later date

    -Any DIY projects to tackle this week?
       nothing this week

    -What are you behind on/hoped you'd have done by now?
      wish i would hear back from caterers. 3 seperate caterers have been working on our proposals for over a MONTH now. hope to hear from them this week, a month is absurd

      i bought our cake server from the knottie classifieds, it was from an estate sale, looks really nice, and should be shipped today

      getting our fence repaired (it fell down during all that wind) and going on a date with my fiance on friday

    -Any DIY projects to tackle this week? Finishing escort cards, labeling everything in bins for the reception hall, writing thank you's to bridesmaids
    -What are you behind on/hoped you'd have done by now? I'm surprisingly not behind on anything at this point! 
    -WR: what are you most excited for this week?  I'm most excited to say that the wedding is NEXT WEEK!  =)
    -NWR: what are you most excited for this week? That this is my last full week of work until June.

    -What are you major wedding items you're working on this week?   We have our first meeting with the priest and two florists meetings.

    -Any DIY projects to tackle this week?  Nope...i'll be procrastinating on those as long as possible! lol

    -What are you behind on/hoped you'd have done by now? Would like to get florist, dj, and limo out of the way. Those are the last vendors we have to search for.

    -WR: what are you most excited for this week?   Picking our florist finally!

    -NWR: what are you most excited for this week?  Getting to go home and see my family and friends (we currently live in central IL but wedding is in Chi where I'm originally from so wedding planning weekends double as reunion weekendsLaughing)

    -What are you major wedding items you're working on this week? Sending in all of the deposits and meeting with caterers and our photographer!
    -Any DIY projects to tackle this week? FInishing the programs for my brothers wedding!  And doing a run through on my table numbers just to get an idea of colors.
    -What are you behind on/hoped you'd have done by now? Im actually pretty ahead!  1 year and 5 months to go and we have a venue, photographer and met with one out of two possible caterers!
    -WR: what are you most excited for this week? Caterer inital tastings
    -NWR: what are you most excited for this week? Getting closer to my brothers wedding!  Just under two weeks to go!

    I should start looking into making my throw away bouquet (I want to make some fabric flowers) but I've been saying that for 3 months.

    Said flowers. Urg.

    My dress fitting!!!  Last time I tried it on it was waaaaay too big, now I'll have my bra inserts and it should be my size :)

    Just for it to be friday.  I have a long weekend and need a chance to rest up a bit (and get some projects done for school)

    Ellie- how fun!  I have to ask; was your brother engaged before or after you? Are you in the wedding?

    when is your wedding date? we are september 7, 2013. you have to be close to that. we are pretty far ahead too. we have our venue, photographer, and band. i am in the process of getting catering proposals. i cant remember, who did you say was your caterer? we should give ourselves credit for being so far ahead

    After :)  We have been engaged for what seems like forever and went back and forth between destination and hometown wedding.  Then we bought a house.  Then we got a dog.  Ha.  It's been a long time coming :)  Yep!  I'm one of the bridesmaids and the ONLY girl helping with the DIY things FSIL is doing.  Her friends pretty much suck :(

    9-21!  So we are close!  That will be fun!  I know...I'd rather be ahead than behind, that is for sure.  I want to have everything done by my BFF's wedding in June so I can just kinda relax before ours.  Wishful thinking, I'm sure :)

    elliemonster - we are 9/21 of this year! It's a great date :)

    -What are you major wedding items you're working on this week? Getting gifts together for FMIL and FSIL as a thank you for throwing me a shower
    -Any DIY projects to tackle this week? nope
    -What are you behind on/hoped you'd have done by now? transportation.. this is FI's responsibility.... grrr
    -WR: what are you most excited for this week? My first bridal shower is Saturday! :)
    -NWR: what are you most excited for this week? This is so lame but I have a work appointment Friday morning our west so I get to work from home the rest of the day! I have about an hour commute each way so working from home is the best!
