Lake Charles

We would like to get married in Lake Charles (on the lake!). I am from Texas, and just need some ideas on locations. I've searched the Knot, but haven't found anything yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

    Prien Lake Park is a great venue. You can get married at the ampitheater overlooking the water and then have your reception inside. Check out http://www.cppj.net/index.aspx?page=791

    Did you ever get married in Lake Charles? I'm in the exact same situation one year later and I would LOVE some advice :) I live in Texas but my finace's family lives in Lake Charles, any ideas??? It's hard to find wedding stuff in Lake Charles. HELP!
