Convertible bridesmaids dresses

I've been looking at convertible bridesmaids dresses (so that I can get the same dress for both of my bridesmaids but they could wear it different ways -- and yes, I only have 2) like these http://www.onewed.com/blog/savvy-scoop/category/bridesmaids/2010/09/10/convertible-bridesmaid-dresses-bride-chic/ but they were in the $150 range...

And I found some on Ideeli for only $69 (or even less!) Unfortunately the colors don't work for me, but maybe they will work for you.

If you're not already a member, you can join here http://www.ideeli.com/invite/itsabeautifulbride and go to the RAVON sale.

By the way, I bought a dress from them a few weeks ago and got it very quickly -- even before the estimated ship date!

  • Make sure your girls try the dresses on before you purchase.  The convertible dresses don't work on all body types.

  • Have you tried on a convertible dress?

I had my heart set on Two Birds dresses before I was even engaged, I had a personalized color swatch from them and everything...then once I was engaged, I tried on in a BM dress and hated it.  The fabric, to me, seems very cheap for the average price on this type of dress...plus it really was just unflattering!!
  • I also tried on one of these dresses a week ago and they were very disappointing! I usually have great luck with finding formal dresses that look good on me, but this one just looked awful and I couldn't wait to get it off my body lol.

My bride ended up choosing a more structured, albeit more expensive, dress and I'm much happier with her decision :)
