Just Started...and already overwhelmed!

Hey all,

Newly engaged and thought I had my perfect venue for next summer and then scheuduling caved in! Now I feel like I am back to square one (probably because I am). I am looking for something relatively inexpensive, outdoorsy (rustic barn or something like it was my plan). Anything where I wouldn't have to bring in too much. Any suggestions (other than a good, stiff drink!)?

Sorry! I am new to this. I am from the Syracuse Area, living in Binghamton with HOB and open to anywhere within the Central New York Area. I was previously looking at a place in Oswego, but I am not stuck to that area at all. Skyline Lodge looks wonderful, just seeing if there were any other options out there as well. Thanks again

The summer camp my FI and I met at hosts weddings. They don't go out of their way to advertise for it, but I've been to one there. They hold them on the shore of the lake and you can do the reception outside or inside the lodge. They have tables and chairs you can use. You'd have to bring in a caterer but they have a kitchen for use. Not sure what the going rate is, but it wouldn't be expensive: http://www.campfireusacny.org/
