how do you feel about wedding mad libs?

too cheesy for a wedding or ok? We arent havign dancing or a dj, just some soft background music.

    I personally think they are cute. However if it's just a dinner I'd pass on them. I think they're great to get people talking and laughing but only in the right atmosphere.

    They're about as cheesy as bridal shower games. I prefer when the bride and groom set out paper so people can leave them nice notes and stuff. Mad Libs are kind of corny.

    I must agree with the majority. I liked them in the beginning but then thought about it and realized they were a bit too corny for what I was going for.

    I think it's a cute idea. I've never done a wedding mad lib at a wedding or a bridal shower so for me, this seems somewhat original. Either way, I'm throwing around the idea of doing it at the shower, if not at the reception dinner. Not sure yet.

    Personally, "predone" mad libs that you buy can sometimes be cheesy, but not all of them. However, a suggestion is to make your own mad libs that cater to you and your fianc, such as a scenario of how you met and include your names. That way it is more personal and relatable for your guests instead of generic. Plus it would be fun to see what your guests come up with...

    I tried to do this and came up with nothing!! Everyone knows i love beauty and the beast and FI proposed to me at the stage play, so something like that would be cute

    Hmm, yeah I think I'd find that entertaining for about five minutes and then I'd be left with a stack of paper I'd think why didn't we throw these away year after year.

    We did them and they were a hit. It was our version of a guestbook. Everyone filled one out and we now have them all in an album.
