I come from very humble beginnings and always thought I would have a simple and elegant wedding set on a hillside where we say our vows under a single oak tree at sunset. My fiance's family, on the other hand, have a tradition of a Country Club setting, and have even offered to pay for it!!
I would be silly to turn that down, especially since the guest list is already above 200! But how do I incorporate the Simple Elegance, into this High Class Affair?
Are there any fall / winter venues in Portland where we can host a non-religious ceremony that might help to balance the Country Club setting?
