Bethlehem Wedding Cost

I am planning to get married in Bethlehem this summer. I have been looking around at different venues/vendor, I thought that having a wedding in Bethlehem would cost less than getting married were I currently live. I was wondering if anyone knew what the average wedding cost in Bethlehem is???

Thanks for your help!

It depends on the venue.  What type of venue are you looking at?  And how many people do you need to accommodate?

A place like the Masonic Temple is very inexpensive.  $25 pp.  I believe that only includes the family style meal though.  You basically need to take care of every little detail yourself if you book this venue.  And I know that you need to provide your own alcohol.  Here's a link: http://bethlehemmasonictemple.com/

On the other hand, a place like Hotel Bethlehem is very expensive.  I don't know the exact price pp, but I'm guessing over $100.  I know people who have spent $50,000 on weddings there.  It's beautiful, but that kind of money is WAY over my budget.  Here's a link: http://www.hotelbethlehem.com/

SteelStacks is a newer venue.  Very modern and hip.  We would've booked it, but it was another venue where you had to take care of a lot of the details yourself.  The pricing seemed reasonable though.  Here's a link: http://www.artsquest.org/hostanevent/artsquestcenter/facilities/

We ended up going with the Hanover Grande Ballroom at the Best Western on 512.  The pricing is very reasonable and it includes just about everything - hors d'oeuvres, meal, open bar, cake, and they also provide a complimentary hotel room for the bride and groom to spend the night.  In addition to all of that, they also set up centerpieces and any other decorations.  You definitely get your money's worth there.  Here's a link: http://www.hanovergrandeballroom.com/

On another note, I just noticed that you mentioned that your wedding is planned for the summer of 2012.  You may have trouble finding a venue that is still available.  We booked ours over a year in advance and I was amazed at how many venues were unavailable.  We had originally planned for October but had to push it back to November - and we had to go with a Friday instead of a Saturday.

    Good luck!

    You are very welcome!

If you need any other suggestions, let me know.  I think we checked out just about every venue in Bethlehem and Easton.
