Second Weddings

2nd Wedding but have one child together

So fiance and I have one daughter (and there are no other kids).  Should we incorporate her into the ceremony if we do a formal ceremony and should we do something for her at the reception? She'll be 4 when we get married.  Thanks!

We have a daughter too and she'll be that age when we get married. She's going to be our flower girl but that's it. Nothing special at the reception, she's a ham and will be all pretty and dressed up that day, she'll be happy with all the attention she gets from that. :)

Have her as a flower girl and leave it at that. She's already incorporated into your family because she's the child of both of you, not a step child.

I've seen a "family dance" where the child of the parents is held by dad while he dances with his new wife. That's about it as far as the reception is concerned. Like most 4 year olds she'll probably just want to run around the wide open space and have fun.
