Outdoor reception and date

need a little pick me up, my venue booked on the date I wanted literally a couple days ago, but I was waiting for my church to confirm the date too before I could book the venue.  Big bummer.

So I need an opinion since everyone should be experts in Maryland's crazy climate, is June 8 an OK time for an outdoor wedding reception?  Our venue is an open building but with no air conditioning (a barn with giant sliding doors) so I really don't want it to get stuffy in there.

    Well the ceremony will be at 2pm at the church, and since it is a catholic ceremony it will take some time.  The reception (the outdoor part) will likely be around 330 or 4.  We can't do it later because the church has mass at 430pm so they need us out of there by 330.

    I think that early in June would be okay. but then again you just never know, always have a back up plan.
