Found some possible jewelry...still not sure what I want

I'm still not sure if I want to wear a necklace or not. I'm wondering if it might be too busy with the black on the top of my gown, but it's worth a shot. If I get something reasonable priced and I don't want to wear it on our wedding day it won't be a huge loss. I could always wear it another time. Here's what I found and a couple pictures of my gown (for comparison), and an organza shawl that I want to wear also.

brit - I agree with you. I really need to try one on with the gown. I also think I'm going to pick up some pretty organza fabric and make a wrap to try on with it. Why are accessories so hard!!!

I absolutely adore the wrap though, I think that'll look great with your dress! If I were you I would try not to go completely overboard with the necklace, and try to find something somewhat simple, otherwise it might take away from how gorgeous your dress is. Maybe get some great chandeleir earrings and then try for a necklace that's a little less "busy".

Great minds think alike!

I really just want a few strands of pearls with a little bit of black onyx accents, but I have no idea where I'll find anything like it. I can only find single strands so far.

*edit* I was browsing on Etsy, how amazingly easy would it be to DIY something like this? Find a simple necklace and attach a pretty flower broach.

brit - FH and I are both jewelry makers and I have to say yes with basic jewelry making knowledge you can do it! It looks like the first one was just chain, eye pins, black beads, a clasp, and a black flower of some sort. The second one is just made with connectors to create the three strands. Both are very pretty.
