Has anyone done or planning to do a HM in California? What are some good cities or areas to visit? Any suggestions? Thanks!

    My FI and I booked a B&B in Sonoma.  Our wedding is next October and that should be a good time of year to be in Northern California.  We enjoy visiting vineyards, etc.

    Napa Valley, Sonoma, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, San Francisco-all gorgeous spots. And as someone mentioned, there are a lot of unique and lovely b & b's in those areas (San Fran to a lesser extent).

    I'd def. recommend doing a hot air ballon ride in the Napa Valley area. Pricey but def. a beyond memorable experience to do on one's honeymoon.

    If you have 7-10 days, I'd recommend a trip starting in San Fran and doing a drive down the coast to San Diego/Coronado Bay, or vice versa. Along the way there are gorgeous coastal cities, and B&B's to stay at. This is one of the 3 vacations we are contemplating.
