Anybody familiar with The Athenaeum in Columbia?

So to make a verrrrrrry long story short, we've had to move our venue to another location. We chose The Athenaeum because it holds a special place in FI's heart, and I love the history of the building. However... I've never even been there! ARGH! Talk about creating nervous frustration... we're in California, and we've already made the big "planning and huge deposits" trip, so another trip is simply out of the question.
Does anyone have familiarity with the building?
Any help would be appreciated!

    I can tell you that it is a beautiful venue.  I am a wedding coordinator specializing in small town and country weddings and live in the Columbia area.  I am happy to check it out more thoroughly for you and answer any questions that you might have.  It is so hard planning from a distance.  Not soliciting business, just want to be of assistance if you need me.
