Venue Question......

I booked my venue back in October, we put down a deposit and signed the contract. I am planning on making another payment in a few weeks since I have a few questions and want to finalize the dinner menu so I can start getting menus made etc. I guess my question is do venue usually contact the bride and groom or is it always in our hands to contact them?

    I say contact them with any question.  I am going to hold off on the menu items because you never know if they come up with a new dish, side, salad etc that would be available afterwards. You seem to have some time.  I email the DOC at Highlawn Pavillion every once in a while with questions about rules, timing, and decorations.

    My venue sends me mail when we are due to make our deposit and when we are go, if we have any questions, we ask them there.

    However, we just recently asked them about our day of details, and they had said  they will contact us.
