MGs Name change question- keeping maiden name as middle name?

Hi Girls,

I know a few of you have done this easily and some have stated having problems. Can you please tell me which social security offices let you do it & if you had issues anywhere else? I'd really like to keep my maiden name as my new middle name and take Dean's last name, I'm reading that it technically requires a court order to change your name- I really don't want to do that!

I did it in Union and had no issues either- was in and out within a matter of 15 minutes. Good luck!

Thank you! I just requested a few copies of our certificate. I hope it takes a while, I'm not looking forward to the process, moving banks, etc.
