I didn't realize my reception site doesn't have a dance floor...and the flooring is carpet, so I hate not to have one.  Well to rent one is like $400!  I think that is crazy.  Would it be tacky not to have a dance floor?

    i had the same problem with a twist.. none of the local companies (within an hours drive) had a floor available for my date... so instead of stressing I decided not to worry about it, I'm wearing 4 inch heels and I'm still having my father daughter dance.. other than that we're not big dancers and i don't think many of our guest are either,. We also just went with our ipod hooked to a jukebox thing instead of a band or dj (small town equals very small options and I didn't like any i auditioned) :) My goal was a stress free wedding and with 8 days to go I might just reach the goal.

    just remember its about what you tihnk, not what great aunt bettys sons girlfriend thinks lol
