    I dont know if I'll be much help but I plan on putting a little tag on the handles that says "We're so glad to have you here to share our special day.  We thought we'd share some of our favorite things, with some of our favorite people" (people could be replaced with family, friends etc.)  Then inside I plan to include a personalized note to each person/couple/family.   Not sure what they'll say because I plan to personalize them. 

    I have a while to go but I plan to include a bottle, or two of Fiji water, some of our favorite snacks (probly from costco), some crab chips, possibly some DC themed chocolate, a visitor guide for DC, metro map, and a couple of pre stamped DC post cards.
