Lets talk about books!!

J got me a Nook recently, and after a loooong time I have started reading again. I started reading The Hunger Games, but I would love to hear suggestions of books you recommend. I have quite a few books on my 'wish list', and after getting a bunch of B&N gift cards for Christmas, I have some credits burning a hole in my pocket!

I am seriously the worst at using my Kindle. I have a ton of the freebies from amazon downloaded, including cookbooks, on there. I haven't picked the damn thing up in about two months.

Ohhh I looove Hunger Games. I'm almost done with the third book!

I recently read The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, and it is really good, especially if you are into Biology, cancer research, or history.

I am really enjoying it so far. I am only about 50 pages in, but I was reading it while I got my pedi yesterday and had tears streaming down my face.
Nice suggestions, ladies! After I finish the HG books and Stephen King's 11/22/63 I will keep those in mind.

Tell me how you like 11/22/63, it's on my list of books to read! It's fairly intimidating-looking, but I'm hoping on my Nook it won't be too bad.

I loved the Hunger Games trilogy. I'm pretty sure I ready them all in 2 or 3 weeks.

I second the Jessica Darling series by Megan McCafferty. I've read all of them several times and always enjoy them.

I'm also a big fan of anything by Jennifer Weiner. I guess you would call her books chick lit but they have a lot more substance then some I've read. I love them all

Jen Lancaster yes totally!! I recently read a Christian love story called Redeeming Love that I enjoyed. If you like Christian fiction, it's a great one. It's an old one, but I also always have to recommended Freakonomics to anyone. It's so eye-opening without having an agenda.

I'm told I have a weird/depressing taste in books (and movies for that matter). Wally Lamb is my favorite author, though he's only put out a few books. Jodi Piccolt is another one I like (My Sister's keeper.... definitely a crying book/movie)

I'm really excited to read it. I am obsessed with anything that surrounds the JFK assassination, and I think this will be an interesting twist.
