Fall Rustic/ Barn? Wedding Venues

Me and my fiance have been searching for hours online for somewhere to have our reception. I would like a place that feels like fall a little allready (Such as: Hardwood floors, Hardwood beams, or even a barn) We have tried Botzum Farmstead, Hale Farm and Village, Vermillion on The Lake, Happy Days Lodge...etc. Nothing seems to be working out...Im giving up all hope! At the most we will have 200 guest.

Any help would be appriciated!

How about the Goodyear Barn at Spring Mist Farms in Brunswick? I haven't seen it in person, but it's a barn that holds up to 200.
    http://www.springmistfarms.com/bigbarn.htm

Another possible site might be Skyview Lodge in Brunswick. It holds up to 275-ish. Wood floors, nice view... not a barn though.

Or, maybe Springvale Ballroom in N. Olmsted. It's a true old-fashioned ballroom. The only thing is their in-season minimum is 200. If you have an off-season date in mind, it may work. http://www.north-olmsted.com/springvalegolfcourse.cfm

If you know a Case Western alum that could sponsor you, there is also Squire at Valleevue farm, it looks like they have a silo theater that could be pretty cool.:

I also found the Barn Inn:

It's in Millersburg, so I don't know if you'd be willing to go out there, and I don't even know if they do weddings, but it's worth a look

    There is also Walden stables:

Not sure how many it can fit but Pine Ridge Country Club looks exactly as you described. Rustic, beams. I have always seen great reviews on here

Check out Quailcrest Farm - Wooster, Landoll's Mohican Castle - Loudonville (I got married there so feel free to PM me!) Check out  Boyerts Greenhouse in Medina/Seville as they have 2 barns available for rent for events. Also check Patterson Fruitfarm for a rustic fall location.  HTH!

My brother used the event center at American Wilderness Campground in Grafton http://www.americanwildernesscampground.com/.  It has a very log cabin feel, high ceilings and very clean.  I was pretty skeptical about having it at a Campground, but it was actually really nice!  And they got a good price, could bring their own alcohol and their own caterer.  :)

Quailquest is gorgeous, but very small!(only holds up to 150 people and thats crammed)! Brookside Farms is breathtaking and can hold up to 300 guests. Good luck :)

There is a wedding facility that resembles a barn located between Cleveland and Columbus. It is a high end ie granite counter tops air conditioning etc. Located on 75 acres with a 1/2 acre pond. It also has a treehouse/honeymoon suite designed by Pete Nelson.

They also have four high end luxury cabins that sleep up to 15 in there larges cabin.

Google The Grand Barn at The Mohicans and The Mohican Cabins

  • I realize that my response is significantly delayed.  My husband and I had also looked for a unique, rustice location to celebrate our wedding. We are still looking for somewhere to have our reception.  Our interests were similar to yours.  We too had difficulty finding a place with your noted requests.  Hence, I have considered building a barn with all the characteristics you have noted and wven an area at the site that is kid friendly. This way many families can enjoy the celebration rather than simply attending the celebration with hopes that it will go smoothly.  If you have children and have been a guest a wedding you will know exactly what I mean.  I have even included in may plans a honeymoon suite on site.  I may also be able to provide a bed & breakfast on site for the bridal party/family as well at a separate facility on the same property.  I have so many neat ideas!!!   However, my question to you is what would you be willing to pay for an experience such as this.  I would have or provide a list of suggested venues for various amenities.  Response to <a href="http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/local-wedding-boards_ohio-cleveland_fall-rustic-barn-wedding-venues?plckFindPostKey=Cat:Local Wedding BoardsForum:110Discussion:1224be84-ea4d-42ff-ab38-7f7171203258Post:af0b8e6d-47df-4836-9c33-125dd0efad64">Fall Rustic/ Barn?
