Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I must admit I am not in the best mood...Got back honeymoon packages from the travel agent last night and was trying to discuss with FI as he zoned out in front of the tv. I love him, but he TV, iPad, computer habits ets are ANNOYING! So here I this morning a crabby patty valentine.

I am excited that FI is coming home early from work today so we can have a nice dinner. And we made plans to pick out tuxes on Saturday. 99 days to go. Who hoo!

Happy Day of Love!

Last night FI mentioned something about having special lunch plans. He has to work this evening, so I thought it was sweet he was going to take me to lunch before he went to work. I coyly asked him who he was going to lunch with, and he replied, "Adam" (his buddy from work). Um, excuse me?!

I think he came to his senses, as he asked me a million times where I want to go to lunch today. I haven't given him an answer yet...

lol, Pickle!

I am going to lunch with a bunch of staff here - we have parent teacher interviews this afternoon and evening...

FI met me in the hallway this morning as I was getting up to wish me a happy valentine's day AND posted on my fb wall. It doesn't sound like much, but for him that's a HUGE deal. He's not typically the demonstrative one in our relationship (in public).

so our valentine's plans will likely be a snowmobile ride and dinner out on saturday (he has to chaperone a dance tomorrow night and I'm at school). Oh well, we're pretty good about the romance all the time thing, so one day isn't going to make or break us!

I have nothing going on today because we both work and have things to do after work. I guess we are celebrating our Vday tomorrow. I have no idea what we are doing tho?

We work different shifts, so I am taking my son to the YMCA after work for a while, and then FI gets home around 8:30. We aren't doing anything special, maybe watch a movie. Our exciting plans are this weekend. We actually got a sitter and are going out with friends Saturday night, and getting tattooed Sunday. (Weird to some, perfect for us!) Can't wait!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We're not doing anything overly special today since H is still recovering from his surgery. Our original plan was to make steaks and a decadent meal at home together but his recovery has been a little slower than we both expected so we've postponed our celebration for a week or two. We have two gift certificates to nice restaurants in our area, so we'll have to choose one of them and celebrate for free.

Tonight I'm going to make a healthy, fiberous spinach and chick peas dish. I"m gonna serve it on our china to make a little more special. H needs to eat healthy foods right now that um, keep his body on track. So no decadent unhealthy dinner this time for Valentine's Day like we usually do.

Mandi - what's your new tattoo going to be?

Pickle - I hope you have nice lunch! Do you have a place in mind?

Rel1988 - Where are you guys going on your honeymoon?

Buzz -- we, too, have a gift certificate we're going to use for lunch -- FI won it in a Super Bowl raffle.

Buzz if you want some unsolicited advice you may want to try giving him colace 2x a day if there is trouble with constipation after surgery. Maybe tmi but it can help.

I know I already posted, but I have to say that my FI just did something completely out of the ordinary....surprised me with flowers & chocolate covered strawberrys at work. I dont think I have ever blushed so hard in my life. Also, he got me a card...it says "to my wife" on the front. Weird. But, he decided to write "future" above "wife" so now it says "to my future wife" hahaha. Hes so crazy! I just had to share because this is the first time I have ever in my life been surprised with flowers.

Sierra - aww, that's so cute! I often alter existing cards to fit my needs better. It just adds that extra special touch

tlc - thanks for the advice, not too much TMI for me. He's been taking miralax 3 times a day as instructed by the surgeon.

Happy Valentines Day!

I made butterfinger cookies for H and dropped them off at his work. They look super weird, but I think they taste how they are supposed to.

H has a special surprise for me today, but idk what it is yet. I'm guessing chocolate strawberries because I told him a store on his way home from work has a good deal on them, and he insists he can't find that store. I'd say he's already gotten or ordered some and is playing innocent.

Hi ladies, This is a P & R. This week is crazy at work. One of our therapists quit with no notice, apparently because her car broke down. Who does that? So now we're scrambling to replace her. I don't know how anyone can walk away from working with special needs kids like that. I'm very bonded with all my clients. Needless to say, I'm really looking forward to my lobster dinner tonight and a night off from thinking about all of it. Have a happy Valentine's day everyone!

@Sierra---Awww how cute!! FI was the first guy to ever deliver me flowers at work. Nothing makes a girl feel more special than a delivery! He asked me what I wanted for V-Day yesterday. I told him no on the flowers, because we're saving up for our honeymoon and they will just die in a week. Low and behold, no flowers delivered but I can't say he didn't listen for once!

@Buzz--We have narrowed it down to 2 places. Couples Negril Jamaica or Secrets Capri in Maya Rivera...have heard good things about both, not sure which one yet!

What a day. On my phone do I'll just do a brief recap. Long time dear patient died unexpectedly last night. Both cars in shop and 1000 dollars later they're back home. Also had to attend a wake. so happy vday! sigh
