This was FI's first time making jewelry, but it looks awesome!

I already bought a cheap wedding band for myself, but I think he might be planning to surprise me by making me one.

    I love this! the ring came out great and the fact that he made it, is even better! If FI was to make my wedding band, I would totally love it! super sweet :)

    Thanks everyone! I thought about it and realized that I would like him to make me a wedding band, and he's really never been very good with surprises, so I told him today that I'd like it if he made me one. He said that he hadn't been planning on it, because he wasn't sure if the picture that I sent him was just because I thought it might be kinda cool, or because I really wanted it. Subtleties and clues don't work well with him! :) Then I asked, "But what if I hate it?" and he said, "Well, that'll really suck for you because you'll be stuck with it." Nice.
