Unique Venues

I am trying to find a venue for my reception of around 250-300 people for May 2014.  I have looked at the Columbia Ballroom and really like it but wanted to see if there is anything else out there.  I am open to either indoors or outdoors.  I just don't want the typical reception hall.  I would really like something with lots of windows and a view. Please help!

    What are of Northeast Ohio are you looking for and is there a certain type of feeling you are going for?

    I am looking for something rustic.  And for the area the ceremony will be in Middleburg HTS. so anywhere near there.  Cleveland, Strongsville, Parma, Fairview, Lakewood.

    We are booked at The Columbia Ballrom for October 26th 2013. I did an exhaustive search of those areas before we booked and that was the best I found.

    I really liked the Oak Room in Tower City but their catering was out of budget. <a href="http://executivecaterers.com/englishoakroom/" rel="nofollow">http://executivecaterers.com/englishoakroom/</a>

    It was very good. We booked before their menu was set but did a group tasting on December 1st. I am a very picky eater but was pleased with everything.

    I never asked about a hotel but my guess would be no. The Holiday Inn in Strongsville is the closest I think. We are using hotels in Middleburg Hts because they are nicer.

    Venue? Not that I know of.

    Hotels? Booking is on my to do list this week, transportation is one of my questions as well. I'll let you know what they say.

    The Holiday Inn in Independence does complimentary shuttle service if you have 10+ rooms in your block booked.  I have a call in to the Strongsville location to find out if they do the same.

    <div>Called and spoke to several hotels today and decided on The Hampton Inn in Middleburg Hts. $99 per night, 10 rooms booked we get a free upgrade, 15 rooms booked they provide a shuttle to and from venues. Also includes a hot breakfast and airport shuttle. </div>
