Lat year for my FI's 30th birthday, I had a custom Army cake made. It was 2 tiers in camo print and they added an edible image of him in Afghanistan on the top.
    Here is a photo.

There's some on Etsy.com - just type in "Army wedding topper" and I'm sure a few will pop up!  I know Luke&Sam (now under a new SN... Sam something...) had one done for her Marine, but I don't know if she'd recommend her cake topper lady since she was rather unresponsive (we had a scare two weeks before that it wasn't going to come in because the lady had disappeared - lucky she surfaced).

I just ordered a helicopter grooms cake....if you are near a military town usually the bakeries have a lot of military cakes to choose from and/or get pictures of.  Good luck!

This site is awesome. I'm going to order my cake topper from here and they do custom orders.

Thats where I got my topper, she's a little bit weird about things though, we ordered our cake topper in October, and like C said, we didn't get it until the Thursday before our Saturday wedding. She didn't answer my emails until I was telling her that I wanted a response, or my money back. It all turned out really cute, and now it sits on my nightstand next to our wedding frame and some other pictures.

Here's a pic of his Grooms Cake

I googled Army cake toppers, and Army Grooms cakes, there are lots of examples that you could just take to your baker and talk about. I didn't link any because I don't know exactly what you were looking for and I'm pretty sure you can use google yourself.. We knew he wanted a Marine Corps emblem, so I took a few pictures of seals and emblems, told her what flavors we wanted, and went from there.

I'm in the same boat as you! I will be busy looking for a cute idea, too! Good luck and congratulations! :]
