Destination wedding , bridal shower?

okay, so I'm a little confused about bridal showers and registering for gifts. Me and my fi are planning on a destination wedding in so Florida. We are having an afterwards reception later when we get back. 1. Do I have a bridal shower? 2. Do i register for gifts for the bridal shower or is that for presents brought to the reception?

    If you have a shower, you need to invite anyone you invite to the shower to the wedding as well. If you can't do that, you would decline the shower. You can also only have a shower if someone throws it for you; you don't host your own.
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
