  Photography pricing really runs the gamut from just starting out photographers to the sky is the limit.  If the Detroit local board is active, I would check there for a good recommendation and also to get an idea of pricing in your area.
  
  That being said we paid around $4k for our package which for Dallas is on the mid to high range.

  I agree that there are many photographers GIVING AWAY their work (either literally, or very cheap). You may find my recent article helpful (and hopefully a little humorous)
