I know this has been asked before but I am getting closer to making a decision. I think for sure I need one. Who did you or are you going to use and what do you think is average price?

    We are going to use Michele from True 2 Life, based on recommendations from this board.  We met with her and she seems great, and has come highly recommended.  You can't beat her prices either, I think we're paying around $600 for the ceremony and a big chunk of the reception.  I believe she charges 300 for just the ceremony.  We were kind of on the fence about getting a videographer too because we had heard it was really expensive, but after seeing her prices and some sample videos, we figured it was well worth it!!

    We used Michelle with True 2 Life -- it was the best money we spent on the entire thing!  We just contracted for our ceremony coverage, and even having that much is amazing -- I literally cry every single time I watch it!  She was great to work with, and as PP said you can't beat their rates!

    I am using Hands of Video (out of St.Cloud) its a husband and wife team and they have 2 packages

    Excellent : $1050.00
    - 2 Videographers
    -Coverage 1 hr before the Wedding and 2.5 hrs into the reception
    They then make us a 60-90 min DVD and Highlights reel

    Extravagant : $1400.00
    -Coverage of the whole event from rehersal thru reception
    - 3 camera angles
    90-120 minute DVD
    Picture Montage included as well as a highlights reel

    Based on their prices Michelle is a steal :-)
