I am officially signed up for my first half marathon on June 2.  I'm all sorts of nervous/excited right now.  There's no turning back now!

    Just remember they take your picture as you cross the finish line! I forgot to mention that to FI when he ran his first half a few years ago, and he was grimacing, slouching, and doing some weird arm move all at once while crossing. Now he puts on his focused face and looks like he just got done with a jog in the park for the finish line only of course! In all seriousness, have fun!

    Congrats! There's something incredibly fulfulling when you run your long run each weekend and every week, it's the longest distance you've ever run. And crossing the finish line is always so rewarding!
