Ceremony location

Any suggestions for a ceremony location? Not interested in getting married in church and ideally I would like a venue where I can have ceremony and reception but would be open to separate locations

Gardens at West Green http://www.thegardensatwestgreen.com/ ...the prettiest venue at a very reasonable price! We got married there in March, all outdoor ceremony and reception in same place. Let me know if you have any questions. Here are some pics our photographer posted from the day: http://blog.ccportraitdesign.com/?p=336 you can see how pretty it is!

You should check out the Southwest School of Arts and Crafts. Very nice for ceremony and reception.

Have you looked at Garden Heights: http://www.gardenheightsweddings.com/index2.php#/home/
It is a very charming Hill Country setting.
It all depends on how many people you plan to have, how far you want to drive, what vendors they work with. Some locations are caterer specific, alcohol regulations, the list goes on.
The Lost Mission is a gorgeous venue, but be forewarned, don't wear high heels!
Several of the Golf Clubs offer scenic backdrops. I would say Botanical Gardens but so many of my brides have had major issues with the scheduling side of it. But the wedding that did successfully work out was absolutely beautiful!
Ultimately when you look back at your wedding photos what setting do you want to fufill your day? Narrow it down from there.
    Happy Hunting!

We are getting married at the Marquardt Ranch in Boerne. It's about 30 minutes from I-10 and 1604. They have beautiful options for either an outdoor or indoor event. We are getting married outside and having the reception indoors. The staff is amazing and they offer linens, centerpieces, and flowers! I like how it cuts down on all the vendors (less people to coordinate with).
