Ordering wedding dresses online

Anyone order their dress online without trying it on or seeing it in person first?

I found this dress and Im so in love with it. Its sooo cheap too, which is right up my ally. Im scared though to just order it with out seeing it or trying it on,

    I wouldn't do it... at a price that cheap, it's probably a Chinese knockoff, and I've really bad things about that.  Like, when you get the dress, it will be very poor quality and materials, and might not even look like your dress.  Maggie Sottero does not sell at discounters.  You can only get her dresses from an authorized dealers.  I'd look for the real thing on a used wedding website if you're looking for that exact dress at a good price.

    Im not to worried about it being a knock off. Im more worried about how it fits.

    But I think her point was that there's no guarantee that it will be a quality knockoff or even resemble the dress you want.  I'd definitely avoid doing it.

    I also fell in love with a dress online from a knock off chinese company. i'm still VERY tempted to buy it. I did a lot of research and found a lot of reviews.
    Here's some that i found helpful:

    I recommend searching "peridress.com reviews" and you'll get an idea of what people say.
    From the review searching i've done it seems like dresses with much more details tend to be the ones with the worst reviews. also, deep sweetheart necklines, ive read a few places how they are even.

    My thing is.. if you can afford to lose out on the money to buy it, do it. Just know there's a possibility it'll be either a- AWESOME and cheap!! or B- disappointment and you're on the hunt again.

    Yep!  The dress could come in looking like something TOTALLY different.  Don't waste your money.

    I have heard of plenty of people that saved tons of money by ordering dresses on line like this one. However, if you choose to do it you need to be prepared for it to come and not be what you wanted. I think they only way you should attempt this is if you have plenty of time to order a new dress if this isn't what you imagined and you have the extra money knowing you might not get it back.

    i had the same concern with my dress, which i did end up ordering on like and i LOVE it. i got it from lightinthebox.com    its exactly what i wanted and i had never really seen it or try it on or anything. i didnt pay the extra 30 bucks or whatever to have it made to my measurments but all i have to do is get it hemmed. im so happy i did order it online. it is from china but i dont think you could buy the material here for as cheap as i got it ($200, including shiping!). i would def reccomend this site to everyone.

    and it does look exactly like it did on the website if not better. and again, not cheap looking or feeling. i couldnt be happier with it.
