Where did you get your wedding shoes?

Where have you girls gotten your wedding shoes?  I'm not huge into the thought of buying online, as I'd like to see them/try them on first before buying.  I'm in the Royal Oak area, but am willing to go to any of the surrounding areas to browse!

Zappos.com!  I know you like to see them before you buy but they have free shipping and free return shipping.

I must have bought 10 different pairs before I found mine.  They have fantastic customer service and I cannot recommend them enough!

ETA:  Also, you have a full year to return them.  So if you find a pair you love now, you don't have to worry about changing your mind since you would still be able to return them.

    I got mine on shoebuy.com - but there's a DSW at 14 & John R.  (plaza with Kohls)

An easy one, DSW. I got lucky and found the last pair, which also happened to be in the clearance section. There is also the Farmington Village Shoe Inn (I think that is what it is called).

I got mine from Endless.com! I love them so much!

They have an excellent return policy, just like Zappos. Free return shipping, and you have 12 months to return them. They also do free 2 day shipping :)

I bought mine at DSW!  I saw no reason to go somewhere expensive until I had exhuasted my usual/cheap options.

I also went to DSW.  I walked past a super cute pair and pretty much fell in love.  I wasn't even thinking about my wedding shoes yet, it was 8 or 9 months prior to my wedding.  I couldn't get the shoes out of my head so I went back a couple weeks later to buy them.

I ordered my shoes online, but I remember Village Shoe Inn in Farmington Hills had a really good selection of dress shoes. They have a second location in Rochester.

You could also try the Nordstrom Rack in Troy or go to the Nordstrom department store in the Somerset Collection.

I got mine at J. Crew (ordered them in 2 sizes online and then returned the size I didn't need.)

I got mine from justfab.com, amazing prices for heels and boots! (I would never pay $39.95 for the flats they offer on the web site, but I've been VERY satisfied with all of the heels I've ordered and I get compliments every time I wear the other shoes I've ordered from them).

They likewise have a great return policy (in my opinion). If you do this, just make sure to read their policies all the way through!
