Anyone Remember The Giver?

O-face, you might like this one if you haven't read it.

Looks like it's finally getting made into a movie:  http://www.themarysue.com/the-giver-movie-jeff-bridges/

I'm looking forward to the Ender's Game adaptation.

Re: Anyone Remember The Giver?

  • omfg I will watch the hell out of that. I love dystopian anything, and The Giver was my first brush with dystopian literature.

  • I had to read "The Giver" in school, but I loved it.  What a great book - very imaginative.

  • I'm having trouble w/ how it'll be a movie, but I'd like to see the try.
    (wasn't there a sequel that I haven't read?)

<div>WHAT? I've always loved the Giver since the third grade. I've read the other books in the series, too - The Messenger and Gathering Blue.</div>
