Wanted to share this with you ladies.
As some of you who've been around a while, you know I made my dress in the pic in my signature. Well, I always dreamed of making my daughter's prom dress. It was a collaborative effort in designing it by using 4 patterns. What she originally planned on was quite different from the end product, but it was a fun and at times challening adventure together. I can't believe my "baby" graduates from HS in 13 days!
She was going for a 50's vibe, and I think she did a pretty good job with her hair & makeup
With her date below. He did an amazing job finding such a "matchy" tie at Men's Wearhouse. I made the boutonniere and pocket square from the fabric I used for the dress.
She said she was the only girl there in a short dress, but rather than feel out of place, she loved it. She wore "her style" and was happy she did.
Thanks for letting me share.
