So, I know you're supposed to take it one step at a time...but...

Is anyone thinking about TTC right after the wedding?

Or....are you going to wait?

We are starting to try on our honeymoon. This sounds crazy, but on my "Aunt Flo tracker" app, it says I will be "fertile" on our honeymoon. Woohoo!

i've wanted a baby since i moved in with my fi. xD i can't wait to have a baby!

we are going to try on our honeymoon too. my period is so crazy though. one month it says i'll be ovulating then the next it doesn't.

We've both known that we want kids but it became a bigger topic of conversation last year around the time our friends had their baby. We talked a LOT about it but ultimately decided we weren't ready yet. We will probably start trying after our friends' wedding in June. We're both in the wedding (and they're in ours!) and want to be able to drink and have a good time without me dealing with morning sickness or something I would maybe have at that time. I recently realized that in a year, I could possibly be pregnant! That's of course assuming it happens right away, and obviously that's not that likely, haha. I'm just excited to have kids and give our friends' kids some little playmates :-)

I am holding off on having kids. I have a baby bucket list, things I want to do before I have a kid. I have a lot of friends who had kids early and when they werent ready, and they regretted it. Don't get me wrong, they love their kids, but I see their struggles and the issues they had early on.

I use to babysit my gf's twin infant daughters 3-4 times a week and I couldnt do it. It reaffirmed my decision to wait.

Some women know when they are ready, me; that clock is still broken.

I'm sort of the same as PP. FI and I have a lot of things we want to do before we settle down and have kids like buy a house and travel, including 2-3 week trip to Europe for our 1 year anniversary. After we do that, I think we'll start trying. We're both really excited to have kids but we want to make sure we take some time to be a married couple and do things that we won't be able to do once kids come along. Best of luck to those who are going to try right away though!! So exciting!!

We are going to just see what happens : we each already have a 5 y/o so we are ready to add to our family. I'm hoping we get pregnant pretty quickly, we'd like to have 5 or 6 kids including the 2 we already have.

I do have kids, 4 of them! :) Their ages are 18, 13, 11, and soon-to-be 8. In my first marriage, we started trying right away, but it took us 5 yrs to conceive my son. I was told it was a fluke that I got pregnant and not to expect it to happen again without medical help. In my second/current marriage, we didn't use any type of birth control, thinking I couldn't get pregnant. Yeah, you know the story from there! LOL I got pregnant a couple of months into our marriage and our daughter was born about 5 weeks before our first anniversary.

I got bored yesterday and filled out some bio stuff if anybody would like to read it. Funny how life looks so much more interesting written out in front of you than when you are actually living it. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />

We have been talking about babies for the past couple months. The wedding is the week of our 10th anniversary, so we have already spent some time together. So we are going to start trying on the honeymoon. Last year we bought the house, and i finished school with a stable job so we have been preparing for this. Its exciting to plan a wedding and start a family

Yes it is, MissRutig!!!

We had a little oops while on BC this past spring that ended up in a miscarriage over Memorial Day.

While it took us by surprise, we were so excited. We can't wait to start actually TRYING. We are just hoping it is a healthy baby and that we will actually get to take him/her home.

I'm loving this post!!

We are planning on having two to three children. We didn't give ourselves a time to start trying. We both want this to happen when it happens. I guess that means without protection but will not be focusing on counting ovulation days, etc. I can't wait for the day I feel sick (crazy! but you know what I mean) and see that stick of confirmation! It'll be one of the most amazing feeling in my life!

BTW, we already agreed on not finding out the gender of our babies until the day they are born.

You ladies got me all excited!!

I think that's going to be our plan too. Kind of the whole "not try, not prevent" sorta thing and see what happens. If it ends up taking a while, I'll probably start with tracking and all that fun stuff. Hoping we won't have any issues!

We talk about it here and there (he says "one thing at a time"). I'd like to start right away. FI has a son who will be 6 1/2 when we are married and we dont want too extreme of an age gap. I'm hoping to get pregnant right away...but it's all in Gods hands!
