Zen inspired theme

I am getting married in a Japanese Garden and we are having the reception at our house.  I want to create an ambiance of zen, chic, and fun.  I will be doing a lot of the decorating myself with the help of some friends.  Any suggestions?  Has anyone ever done this type of theme?
