What are your plans for today and this evening?

I have today off, Yeah!! The last two weeks have made me pretty lazy and when I have a full house of kids again next week I am going to be bumming! Today my plan is to go jewelry shopping with my mom for wedding day jewelry. I am not looking forward to this because I have NO idea what kind of jewelry I should get to wear with my dress. Everything I look at seems to costume or bling bling and I don't want to look like a hooker!!

Hopefully that will go well and then I can come home and nap before getting ready for my wild night out!! I say wild night out because this will be the first time in 7 years together FI and I have ever went "out" for NYE. We are going to dinner and  local bar for dancing, pool and drinks with my cousin, her FI and some friends. I bought a new sparkly shirt to wear this evening! I am kind of excited!

    It is our "dating anniversary" so we are going to breakfast, need to go to the grocery store and D*cks, the casino and their fancy restaurant and then to our friends house for some bubbly!  I'm excited..if only DH would wake  up!
    It's time. Adoption saving and process started in November 2012.

    Good Morning!

    Barb and Rach didnt fight over the Good Morning thread so I am confused now!

    Tonight we have reservations for Akiras, our favorite Japanese restuarant. DH gets his sushi, and I have my habachi. Then we'll go home and have a quiet night.

    Good morning, ladies.
    We got several inches of snow, and the high temp today will be 9*, so we will probably stay in.  We may hike today, but I'm thinking pizza and movie night.

    The high temp here today is 63 degrees and the low tonight is 19 degrees!! But right now we have tornadoe sirens going off so it could be an interesting morning!

    We had plans, but now I don't know.  I can't find the gift card we were going to use to a really nice restaurant near us :'(

    And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

    Oh no! I hope you can find it! I lost a gift card once and instead of telling FI I just went and bought another gift card! I think I had given him a very hard time about loosing it, and then I lost it myself!!

    It is 50 here today (amazing!!!) and the storms last night took out all the snow! yay!

    I'll take rain over snow and 50 any day!

    Its in th 70s here again today. I can't beleive its NYE. I haven't worn a coat but one day this year and its aggravating. 

    I am currently making macadamia nut waffles, then I'll get H's butt out of bed and if our insurance people are working we'll go get all that stuff sorted out. Otherwise I'll clean and take a nap so I can stay up after 10pm at my friend's party.

    Thank you!  I actually just found it.  I can't even begin to describe how relieved I am.  This restaurant is H's favorite.  They have a 4 course meal that you can order and we've been dying to try it but haven't because we didn't want to drop so much money in a single sitting.  When he got the GC from my parents we immediately knew we were spending it on that.  I'm so excited, and H will never have to know how close to cancelling dinner we came.

    Morning!  Glad you found the GC, B; that sucks to lose cash.

    I'm debating whether or not to venture out today. H and I decided to host UFC here tomorrow, and we have no food in the apartment. I need to go to the bank, and Target, and the grocery store, and a bunch of other stuff. But.  We had some really warm weather which melted a ton of our snow... and then the temp dropped so everything is frozen over outside. It's sunny, though, so hopefully it'll melt again

    Tonight, I don't think we're doing anything exciting.  I'm terrified of all the dumbass drunk drivers that are on the roads on NYE, so we usually don't go too far.

    Today will be spent cleaning. The house needs it. Thankfully, H agreed we should spend tonight at home, so that's what we're doing. I really didn't want to be out partying.

    H made cinnamon rolls this morning. We're going to be bumming around the house, doing some cleaning projects. Might go see Black Swan later. We're going to a party at a bar tonight - open bar and tacos from 9pm until close.

    Gorgeous weather here in Tampa; watching my alma mater in a bowl game right now, beating up on Clemson.  Tonight, going to watch FSU vs SC at a bar and then I've got a table at a club for a bunch of close friends along with a nice and safe cab right home afterward when I'm trashed lol.  Start the new year with a hang over.
