Anyone doing lantern centerpieces

I have fallen in love with the lantern centerpieces.  

Please share with me the ideas you have found.  Especially those with colors of champagne and blush pink.     I picked up a couple of lanterns that I found shopping and just playing around a bit.  I am going to run by my florist on Monday and talking about doing flowers around the lanterns. I was doing straight up flower centerpieces but they are so so expensive.

    I hear you! 

    I love lanterns and hurricanes, I have a couple with a frosted monogram from Pottery Barn. And I am doing a silver candelabra centerpiece, for which my florist is building a floral base wreath and upper center wreath. Using blush pink hydrangeas and blush roses, very lush, and in season! Instead of long taper candles will be a glass votive cup. 

    Here is a link to the reference picture I gave my florist. 

    Along with ivory linens and champagne overlays, blush pink napkins, crystal and rhinestone table number frames. With amber LED uplighting to make it all glow like candle light. 

    My colors are ivory, blush pink, champagne and silver, with black accents. 

    You should follow my wedding board on on Pinterest, everything is in these colors. Also, my Mom's page is even better than mine! 

    What else are you thinking of doing? Here are some lanterns I have pinned.

    I've definitely got to follow this thread! I'm seriously considering dimming the lights and having my two girls carry a lantern each down the aisle in addition to their bouquets. And I'm thinking about doing lantern or hurricane lamp centerpieces. Still trying to make up my mind!

    I haven't decided what printout to use for the windows yet...I'm having a very hard time deciding about that.

    Julie, our nieces and nephew are going to be lantern bearers as well during the ceremony so here's what we're doing:

    I found a lantern that I love at Pier 1 imports.  I have swept all of them in my area lol. 

    I will get one to my florist next week to see what she has in mind.   I didn't go with white though.

    I have an Ivory table cloths, pink and ivory flowers and with and Ivory candle I thought white would just get lost. 

    I have purchased a bunch of these.

    It says black but there is definitely the champagne gold colored in it.   And with all the lighter colors I think it will be gorgeous.  I love the jewel as well because its so me lol..

    Well I just spent the morning sweeping up the lanterns in my area lol.  Thank goodness i have multiple pier 1 in short driving distance.

    I also sweeped up about 40 of these sphere but photos don't do these justice.  The champagne sparkle on them is awesome.  I don't even know how I am going to use them yet lol.
