Pregnancy Dreams

I seriously have a dream about being pregnant every few nights. What the heck is happening!? Last night i had a dream that I was pregnant and I was trying to explain to everyone that I never had sex and that it was like a baby Jesus. Except no one believed me. When the dream ended and I woke up I seriously thought I was pregnant because it was such a real feeling dream. Weird.

Does anyone have any funny dream stories to share?

Already shared this one on here a while ago...

But once I dreamed that I got married in the flower area at a grocery store. I was convinced that this was a fantastic idea! Save so much money because you didn't need to buy any flowers!!

Had a dream that my bf took me to Vegas and when we returned I was married and pregnant.  I remember waking up, looking around the room and seeing that my bf was curled up with our puppy.  I tapped him and told him if we ever go to Vegas, that we had better be engaged/married first.  He just laughed and said OK.

The other night I had a dream I was swimming with dolphins. It was fun, until the dolphins turned into killer whales who then started being born on land in these weird, huge birthing sacks. They came out kind of like mobster killer whales and were trying to kill me, lol. So weird. There was more to it, but I forget the rest now.

I used to have dreams that I was engaged too and I'd wake up thinking it was real, until I look at my finger and it would be bare, lol.

I don't remember any pregnancy or baby dreams recently. Although last night FI and I were talking baby names and decided we like Evey Annis Lastname and Issac (or Caleb) Richard Lastname. If we go with Caleb, then the girl's initials would match mine and the boy's would match FI's. Kind of weird since we didn't plan it that way. Maybe you just have babies on the brain? lol

I've never had a pregnancy dream (thankfully).

I mentioned in the questions thread about my wedding day dream & not having a dress. I was running around calling every bridal salon in the area trying to find a dress in time for the ceremony.

I have a lot of dreams about my teeth which is apparently really common & so, so scary. Like the scariest dreams ever for me. I wake up in SUCH a panic thinking my teeth have crumbled out of my face or were pulled out or something like that. I'm cringing just thinking about it.

I had dreams before I got engaged that my parents tried to throw us a crappy surprise wedding on their friend's houseboat because they spent all the money my grandma left for me for my wedding.  Turned out I was right though (sans the surprise wedding thing).

No pregnancy dreams yet, although I had a really weird dream last night where we had a newborn (skipped the pregnancy part) and H didn't even want to hold it...except it wasn't H, and then it wasn't really me either.  Weird.  I always have weird dreams like that where it's filled with completely fictional people, no one I know in real life, not even myself...

I have those too!  Not necessarily crumbling, but that they are loose and getting ready to fall out.  I hate those dreams because it seems that some of the most mundane issues feel the most real in dreams.  I always wake up and run my tounge along my teeth to make sure they aren't loose.

I had a pregnancy dream once (when I was engaged to my exH) that I was noticeably pregnant and my mom died.  And everyone was talking about the baby and not my mom and it really upset me.  I woke up pretty freaked out, heart racing covered in sweat, etc.  Crazy thing is about a year a half later when I was 5 months pregnant, my mom passed away.

Also, when I was pregnant I had a dream that my mom's cancer had spread to all of her organs including her brain (again) and there was nothing they could do.  I woke up sobbing uncontrollably and exH was so freaked out.  This actually happened within about a month...well it spread to her kidneys, liver and brain and was still in her bronchi (lung) as well.

About a month ago I woke up after walking over to my "window and grabbing my son from the ledge".  Only I was actually walking to the other side of the room and ran into my dresser.  I was sleep walking and talking and actually thought he was about to jump out of my second story window that is not even there, I have windows, but that is the wall between our rooms.  I was so upset and freaked out by it that I couldn't go back to sleep.  :(

A week or so ago I was sleeping over at BF's and apparently asked him in the middle of the night what he was doing and then gave him a crappy attitude and told him to put his phone down because the glow of it woke me up.  Only I was asleep and I actually woke HIM up with my nonsense.  Haha, luckily he loves me! :)

I'm with all of you on the engagement dreams--mine are always strange, and usually with some made up person other than my SO. I had one two nights ago where some random man proposed to me, and for some reason, I couldn't say no. o.O Then I spent the remainder of the dream wondering why I felt so sad that I was engaged to this person--it felt like there was something wrong, but I wasn't sure what--and when I woke up, suddenly I'd remembered that I'm with BF. I ALWAYS have amnesia in these sorts of dreams!

I think it's my subconscious fear surfacing that my current life isn't actually happening, lol. Looking back on my entire relationship, I'm always shocked at the bizarre string of events that led me to be with BF.

I've had pregnancy dreams in the past, but they're always scary.. I HAVE TO GRADUATE AND STUDENT TEACH FIRST! =) Not to mention get married...

I used to have pregnancy dreams, once for a month straight. They freak me out pretty good. I once had a dream that I was pregnant but no one would let me do anything. I was only allowed to sit on the couch and sit very still. If I tried to get up, I would get pushed down - by FI, my mom and my FILs. It was very frustrating. When I woke up I wasn't sure if I was able to move, and that scared me too.

I have similar dreams. All it takes is for someone to mention one of my exes and I'll usually have a dream that I'm back to dating them and I'm so unhappy and it seems weird, and then right before I wake up, I realize that it's because I'm not with FI and I find him and everything is alright again, lol.

Now that I think about it, I rarely have a truly happy dream. They're all about fears or just incredibly strange with no real reasoning behind them (ex: gangster killer whales).

Nah. To be honest, the pregnancy dreams stopped once things started going better financially for us - FI got his job at the bank, and then I started working at my new job, and we are slowly getting back on our feet. So maybe that was the "big change"!

I hate the teeth dreams! I sometimes have these...also that they are just loose.
I had one pregnancy dream. We decided to get engaged- and we also found out we were pregnant- and were way more excited about being pregnant.

When I told Andrew about this dream...he was definitely not excited in real life. Haha...

When I was a little girl- I had a dream that my mom owned a bed and breakfast- and some clowns came to stay- they then kidnapped me! It was awful. I now dislike clowns.

I've never had any engagement dreams that I can remember but I did have a few very vivid pregnancy dreams.  The last one I had I was actually at the hospital and in labor about to have the baby.  I remember feeling the pain in the dream and thinking it was so real.  I woke up before I delivered though.  I don't have dreams about my teeth but my best friend does quite often.  I have dreams about driving up hills...usually it's the big steep hills in San Francisco I used to have to drive up to get to school.  Most of the time I am not strapped in and I fall backwards in to the back seat.  When I am having ALOT of stress over something I will usually have this dream.  Interestingly enough I had this dream last week but BF was in the car with me and he took over driving and told me not to worry everything would be ok. We got to the top of the hill just fine and I didn't fall out.  He's my prince even in my dreams LOL

Growing up, I used to always dream that bees were swarming outside the house and I was trapped and they always found a way to get in. Now I'm terrified of bees.

I actually have a lot of dreams about this kind of stuff, especially the teeth falling out.  They freak me out hardcore.

I had a dream that we had a baby a few nights ago.  She was itty bitty and perfect, and had really soft dark hair.  I went through pregnancy and labor and everything in my dream.  When I woke up, my sleepy brain was like "see? you know what labor feels like and it was fine!  You can totally have kids now!" lol...
