It started as When You Come Back Down by Nickel Creek, but in the middle, it changed into Sing Sing Sing so we could do the Lindy/Swing we've been working on for months!

We're still deciding, music is really important to me, and he doesn't totally care. My top three right now are: a good version of "Come Fly With Me" (because I think that's funny), "Pure Imagination" from Willy Wonka, or possibly the Elvis Costello version of "Changing Partners." Or maybe Johnny Mathis's "Moon River."

It took us a long time to find a song because there were so many to choose from, especially our country favorites but when I first listened to that song, I just fell in love. </div>

We used Pearl Jam's cover of Can't help Falling in Love. We had a tough time deciding because neither of us are the corny type and we like alternative music. We tossed around Everlong by the Foo Fighters (acoustic version), Just Breathe by Pearl Jam, Tonight, Tonight (acoustic) by Smashing Pumpkins, and No one is gonna love you (like I do) by Band of Horses.

Ok the last one isn't really H's style, but I really loved this song and told him if he couldn't pick one of the songs I sent him, I was going to default to that one. And, because I love it so much, here is a youtube link to it

Aww I love that song it makes me cry everytime! I also considered Already There by Lonestar because one of my first letters from FI when he was in basic said to listen to that song. He said he'd randomly have songs pop into his head that made him think of me. So I watched the video and bawled my eyes out because I had a bad day at school and was really missing him and the music video was a tribute to the military. I love the song though

We considered Stellar by Incubus, again the acoustic version (I have a thing for acoustic versions of songs haha)

I tried to get FI to use this song by Nickel Creek, but he really doesn't want much of anything military related in the wedding, outside of him wearing dress whites and guests wearing blues.
LOVE this song.. Oh well.
How did the dance turn out for you guys with the swing?

It is only live covers, but they did release a live version on the Holidays Album for the Ten Club, pm me your email address and I will send you the version I used. The DJ cued it up perfectly.
