Hi the Knotties,
I'm getting married this coming January in Alexandria, VA. I'm looking for a make-up artist who can do my make for an early afternoon ceremony. Ideally the person would come to my house to do it, but I'd be willing to go somewhere (e.g. a studio, salon, make-up counter at a department store), assuming they were located in the DC metro area (preferably near Alexandria, VA where the ceremony will take place). I'm African-American. So, I would like someone who have experience working with skin types for women of color. And, last but not least, I'd like someone who's as reasonably priced as possible.
