Tableclothes

So I am having an outside wedding and have no decorations yet.  I'm going with Picnic at the Gardens since my ceremony and reception will be at the some location at a B&B.  My colors are lavendar and white but using a bunch of purple colors as well but not anything too dark!  Would I be crazy to want checkered lavendar or purple and white table clothes?  I have no idea where I can get them!

    I think it might seem really "picnik-y" with checkers. You'll probably have to either buy the fabric and DIY or hire someone to hem it. 
    What about alternating tables with solid white and different purples? linentablecloth.com has great prices on linens, I've made 2 ordered from them :)

    Did you google it? I put in purple checkered tablecloth and found some stuff on ebay, along with this-

    I personally would just go with white if you're buying them. That way you can use them in the future for other events (birthdays, BBQs, graduations, etc.). You could do overlays in purples or do your centerpieces in purples.

    Thanks for the advice guys.  I have decided to use white table clothes for all the table expect the head table.  I'll be using a purple one on it.  I still debating my centerpieces but it will be something purple with potential runners.
