So we have a somewhat tight budget for our wedding, and I cannot see paying $80 + for a bridal bouquet. I want blue hydrangea, and am thinking of just ordering a few stems from a flower shop that quoted me $10 a stem and making my own bouquet. I want to know if hydrangea will hold up well enough for me to do this, or if there is another similar flower that will work better or might be cheaper. Also if anyone else has done something similar, if you could post pics? I have fake flowers for the bridesmaids bouquets (don't worry, they are all ok with this and not offended if mine is the only one made of real flowers). Any help would be appreciated.
