Best Weight for Paper Invites???

I'd like to know what you ladies used for your invites. Is 80lb enough? is 110lb too much? I don't want to spend any more money on paper samples.

Re: Best Weight for Paper Invites???

  • Personaly, I'd go wth 110#.
  • I think mine were 110.

and since you are thinking about size/shape.

i learned "square" ones cost more to mail...so just keep that in mind
  • Thanks! I ended up purchasing 110lb right from Office Max and saved tons in comparison to all the online sites.
  • Yep, mine were 110 too, I think. It's a nice weight and definitely not too thick.
  • I work as a graphic designer, so I am pretty picky/familiar with paper weights and feels. I would go with the 110 cover  if its offset printing, I am printing my digital and were going with 130lb cover weight to give them a really specific feel. Make sue your weights also specify cover or text, 100lb cover is much heavier then 100 lb text weight stocks.
