My mom and FMIL are throwing me a bridal shower, but my cousin says it is a "faux pas". Does it matter who throws the showers?

    Technically, your mother or FMIL shouldn't, but it is becoming more common and not something most people would make a big deal of. Those who "know their etiquette" and are old school about such things will consider it a faux pas.
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
