Instant Request DJ - tip question

I was going to pay off the DJ today but their system suggests including a tip (and they list average of $150 which is 25% of my contract.......yikes). 
 
I emailed the company to ask if you're allowed to tip at the event or through their online system later.

I am still curious - if any of you ladies have used them, how did you approach it? How much did you tip?

    I would wait to tip the DJ until after the reception. You wouldn't tip a server at a restaurant before they bring out your food.

    As to the 25%, It is a suggested amount, but to me that seems pretty high. We are planning to tip our vendors 15% and will adjust it up or down depending on how they do, just like when we eat at a restaurant. For someone to get 25% they have to be going REEEEEAlly above and beyond.
