When to make a wedding website.

When is a good time? Half of our guests are coming from 6 hours away. I was thinking about making one now but don't want to look crazy if it's too early. 

I don't really like theknot sites. Anyone using a different site to do theirs?

    A lot of people use weebly or weddingwire for their sites. Both are way less glitchy than TK. I would say you could definitely create one now, but maybe don't tell anyone the address until you send STDs (if you are sending STDs) or maybe 8 months out?

    Ive used weddingwire for mine and just sent out my save the dates. We are having a destination wedding though so thats why ive sent them out 12 months in advance. The formal invitations will be a bit of a waste coz all of the info is on our website. They are basically just going to be a reminder for our guests.     We have had out site up for a couple of months. No one knows it exists yet. We plan on including it with our save the dates.
