Chapel Flower Decor??

I don't know what to do with the alter at the chapel. Should I get flower arrangements or will it look like a funeral?

    It definitely won't look like a funeral because there won't be a casket with a dead body in it
    sitting out LOL!

    I say get some flowers if you can afford it.  There are going to be a good amount of pictures of you and your FI up at the alter and some flowers will make those pictures a bit nicer and brighter.

    Our ceremony flowers were similar to Maggies....beautiful pieces on a pedestal.  If it's in your budget, I say go for it.  Also, our ceremony was in the same building as the reception, so the venue moved the flowers to the reception room and they flanked our sweetheart table.  Not sure the proximity of your reception is to your ceremony, but that is an option to get more use of of them.
