  If you're up for an afternoon or morning trip, you could go to Fond Doux Plantation (looks like it's about 45 minutes from where you are). We did the estate tour with lunch - I think it was about $30pp. The meal was good, the grounds are beautiful - I'd wear sneakers, but it's not really "hiking", more just garden paths around the estate. The meal was delicious, as well. Queen Elizabeth took this tour herself on a visit to Saint Lucia a few years ago.

  After you posted that I just realized I saw a photo from an acquaintance and her H on their St Lucia HM and they were covered in mud, had no idea what the heck it was but now I know.. they had a blast too. We will definitely check this out!! Thanks

  It may be too active for you, but Treetop Adventures has a really fun zip line course (some "hiking" involved between zips).  Last summer I went kayaking with Dive Fair Helen.  It was both ocean and river kayaking and difficult at times.
